George Henry Starek, Jr. of Murchison, Texas passed away July 20, 2016 in Dallas. He was born on July 13, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Henry and Elouise (Guinn) Starek. George is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jimmy Glenn and brother Ronnie Starek. Left behind to cherish his memory are wife Vicki Starek of Murchison, Texas; sons George Kevin Starek and wife Paula; Gary Glenn Starek and wife Luann; B. J. Starek and wife Brittany; daughter Wendy Stuart and husband Brad; grandchildren Miranda and Justin Starek; Ashley Maudlin, Melissa Baysinger, and Becky Freeman; Macy and Sadie Starek; great-grandchildren Maegen, Anthony, Cameron, Wade and Emma; step-grandchildren Golden and Tanner Newton; sister Judy Edwards and husband Dan; brothers Mark Starek and wife Therese; Jolly Starek and wife Sandy; Kim Starek and wife Barbara. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home; a reception will follow at the Irving Elks Lodge #2334, 2015 N. Britain Rd.
