Carrie Pearl Crofford Marshall passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the age of 99 years, six months and one day. She was the middle child of Walter Edward and Pearl Bennett Crofford, born on January 24, 1917 in Ringgold, Texas. She was predeceased by her parents and all of her siblings, Ruth York, Mossie Lindenblatt, James Crofford, Robert Crofford, Clara Mae Shemo and Frances Marie Bailey; nephew William Burrell York, Jr. and nieces, Betty Jo York Hiller and Tanya Marie Bailey Baugus. She is survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews and their families. Carrie Pearl graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas. She worked for Standard Brand, United Motors and General Motors. She moved to Irving in the 50’s and lived on Segundo Drive until she moved to Brookdale Assisted Living in 2014.The family will receive friends at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 30, 2016 one hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow the service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
