Jimmy Joe  Cline
Jimmy Joe Cline, long time businessman and resident of Irving, Texas died peacefully at his home on August 15, 2016 at the age of 79. He was born in Holland, Texas on June 1, 1937 to James and Ruth (Williams) Cline. Jimmy and his wife Roma founded and operated Eagle Printing Company in Irving for 32 years. Jimmy was a self-made man of great intellect, humility, integrity and kindness with great compassion for those who were less fortunate. His family was his greatest joy. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Roma; their son Martin Cline; granddaughter, Anna Cline; grandsons, Edmon and Alex Cline and great-grandson Benjamin Cline. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas. Memorial donations may be made to The Gideons at www.gideons.org.
