Debra Elaine (Rodgers) Atchley of Irving passed away August 20, 2016. She was born on October 15, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Carl Allen and Mary Ann (Huff) Smith. Her grandbabies were her whole life and she loved them dearly. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.. Debra attended Marsh Lane Baptist Church. She worked as a coordinator for Pepsico/Frito Lay for 32 years. She is preceded in death by her parents. Debra leaves behind husband of 28 years Walter Roy Atchley; sons Joe Allen Rodgers and wife Amanda; Dennis Munoz and wife Iris; daughter Jennifer Dell Garver and husband Adam; sisters Teresa Davis; Cynthia Dennison and Carla Fink; grandchildren Kayley, Madison, Michelle, Emily and Marcus Rodgers; Angelika and Anthony Munoz; Marissa and Kason Garver and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Hadley officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
