Message to the Family: Just saw him Saturday. What a complete shock. Although we were not great friends, he helped kindle my love for racing through the Texas Triathlon series he held many years ago. I used his car to get my SCCA license and raced with him in spec Miata over many seasons. During that time he helped me with many things racing and I appreciate that much. Truly a good guy and a shame it ended too soon.
