Hallie M. Pickett, age 83, died Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Otis and Virginia Elsie (Aaron) Purser on October 31, 1932. Hallie was a resident of Irving for 53 years, worked at Texas Instruments and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband and both parents. Left to cherish her memory is daughter Vickie Ewing and husband Wayne of Irving; son Thomas Pickett and wife Sissie of Dickinson; son David Pickett and wife Meridyn of Oklahoma; grandchildren Lori Sweetland, Russell Tillery, Joyanne Edgerley and Jason Williams; great grandchildren Michelle, Cursty and Adia Tillery, Aryan Caviness, and Ashlyn, Alyssa, Shea and Savannah Sweetlend and Cheyenne Edgerly. Visitation will be held at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home between 1:00 and 2:30 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2016. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
