Obituary for Glendon Eugene Carroll

Glendon Eugene  Carroll
Glendon “Glen” Carroll of Irving passed away October 3, 2016. He was born on November 24, 1941 in Ladonia, Texas to J. B. and Mary M. (Stailey) Carroll. He will be remembered as “Glen the Painter” a career he enjoyed for 47 years. Glen also enjoyed fishing and was a sports enthusiast. He also enjoyed playing the slots. He was a graduate of Crozier Tech in Dallas and later served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Glen is preceded in death by his parents and wife Glenda Sue Carroll. He leaves behind to cherish his memory children Dana Cross, Jody McCammon and husband Junior, Tammy Carroll, Jason Carroll and wife Kelli, Jamie Carroll; grandchildren Amanda, Cassey, Justin, Troy, Jacob, Lily and Brendon; great-grandchildren Landon, Trenton and Clorinda; sisters Louise Hebert and husband Charles and sister Betty Ham. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, October 6, 2016 at The Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite Veterans Organization.
