Keith E. Beers, age 66, died Thursday, November 24, 2016. He was born in Syracuse, Nebraska on June 2, 1950 to Lester C. and Eleanor J. (Sugden) Beers. Keith loved his father and adored his mother. He was an amazing and caring father to his only daughter Leslie, and an even more loving, amazing and caring grandfather to his granddaughter Capri, who he called “Lil Britches.” He enjoyed fishing, boating, pheasant hunting in Nebraska, family gatherings and camping. Keith is and will continue to be known for his loving nature to all that met him, as well as his famous chili. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Billy and Robert Alvin Beers. Left to cherish his memory is daughter Leslie Witte and husband Billy of Carrollton; sister Phyllis Ehmke and husband Harlan of Columbus, Nebraska; sister Cindy Jennings and husband Phil of Ardmore, Oklahoma; granddaughter Capri Witte, nieces Kim, Cami, Billie and Cori; nephews Mike, Mitch and Steve along with numerous extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, November 28, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home; a reception will be held at 1309 Silver Maple Dr. In Carrollton, Texas immediately following.
