Tommy Overstreet died unexpectedly Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the young age of 45. He was born in Dallas, Texas to Dewey and Nancy (Locke) Overstreet on August 13, 1971. Tommy loved playing bass guitar, and used his talents in service and to praise his Lord for 6 years at North Irving Baptist Church and is currently a member at First Baptist Irving. When he was not working at Thales Avionics (2 yrs) he enjoyed all the time he could get at the gun range. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following. A visitation will be held between 6:00 and 8:00 pm, Wednesday, January 25, 2017, also at the funeral home. He is preceded in death by his father; left to cherish his memory is wife Terri Overstreet; son Chase Overstreet; daughters Mariah and Victoria Overstreet; mother Nancy Overstreet; brother Dennis Deal; brother Michael Overstreet; sister Robin Peterson along with numerous other extended family and friends. Tommy is now with his Lord and Savior.
