Obituary for Charles Clifton Wallace II

Charles  Clifton  Wallace II
Charles Clifton Wallace II, passed away, May 8, 2017. Charles was born in Dallas, Texas on September 27, 1946 and was a lifelong Irving resident. He attended Irving High School and graduated with his Class of 1965. Charles, soon after high school graduation, volunteered for to join the United States Army, in 1966 and went on to become an Airborne Paratrooper and was invited to join the Green Berets, in the 5th Special Forces Group, in Vietnam. Upon returning from Vietnam, in 1969, he attended The University of Texas at Arlington and joined The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 198. He worked his way up the ranks in the commercial millwork industry for over 30 years. Charles loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and coaching little league events with his sons and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his father and brother. He was survived by his sons, Charles III, Chet and Casey and his grandchildren, Caley, Jocelyn, Cori, Cole, and Crew along with his mother, sister and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. All arrangements are currently being made and a private ceremony will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery for immediate family and friends.
