Obituary for James R. Kopitke

James Robert Kopitke of Euless, Texas passed away July 16, 2017. He was born on June 1, 1961 to Arthur Joseph Kopitke and Karen “Fenwick” Hodson in Oak Park, Illinois.
James leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife Doris Craighton of Euless, Texas; mother Karen (Gary) Hodson of Bonner Springs, Kansas; brother Don (Lisa) Kopitke of Lenexa, Kansas; sister Bonnie (Dana) Farmer of Overland Park, Kansas; 14 nieces and nephews and one great-nephew; Uncle Bob (Susi) Kopitke of Frisco, Texas; Aunt Pat Hampton of Warsaw, Indiana and several cousins. James is preceded in death by his father.
James worked for TST Impreso for over 30 years. He played softball and baseball from elementary school and into college. He also played on local teams as an adult. James enjoyed all sports. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He loved working on his 1966 Oldsmobile 442 that his dad bought new and became his high school car. He married Doris Craighton on October 9, 1999.
James was a very caring person with a great sense of humor who loved life and making people laugh. He also loved animals and always had them in his home. He cherished the relationships he had with family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
