Condolence: I lost my own dad suddenly in 1994, but luckily, I had two. Burrell Hambrick, Sr became my other dad when I married his son twelve years before that. He accepted me into his family, as his own, as he has been known to do. He was one who easily laughed, and easily mumbled. :)
He loved without hesitation, and would be indignant on behalf of a loved one wronged.

This man loved his sports team, but also got hooked on soaps. (He might not like me telling that!) He enjoyed his grandchildren, and they all have their own special memories of their times and conversations with him. At his last birthday, his 6 year old great-granddaughter never left his side, and they talked and talked. I am so glad she now has that memory.

We will all miss him, and cherish all the times that we had together. He was my dad for 35 years. I am so thankful.
