Betty Maxfield, age 80, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 14, 2017. She was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Joseph and Elizabeth (Burcher) Maestri on September 30, 1937. Betty was a loving and kind-hearted person who enjoyed caring for her family and others. She pursued this passion and obtained her RN degree; a career in which she dedicated 50 years to. She is preceded in death by both parents, step father Glenn Bice, husband Robert C. Maxfield, brothers Buddy and Dick and 3 sons. Left to cherish her memory is son Robert Maxfield II; daughter Rene Maxfield; grandson R.C. Maxfield; 4 siblings Jodie, Jeannie, Kay and John along with numerous extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
