Wilda McCoy, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 25, 2017. Wilda was born on February 14, 1940 in Eden, Mississippi to Curtis L. Byrd and Ruth M. Cowart. Wilda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Charles Norlin Gilmer Jr.; late husband Bobby Mack McCoy; one sister, and two brothers. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Wanda Wilson of New Mexico; sons Charles C. Gilmer and Carol of Malakoff, Texas, and Darby Gilmer and wife Julie of Grapevine, Texas; daughter Rhonda Martinez and husband Sean of Fort Worth; five grandkids; nine great-grandkids; and numerous other extended family members and friends. A graveside service will be held 10 A.M. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens located at 1413 East Irving Blvd. Irving, TX 75061.
