Allie B. Landers, age 89, went home to be with The Lord on January 1, 2018. Allie was born on November 23, 1928 in Quitman, Texas to Charlie and Ollie Wickliffe. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and never met a stranger. She was a founding member of Bible Way Chapel Church of Irving. The family would like to especially thank Woodbridge Nursing & Vitas Hospice for their care and support throughout this time. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Rev. L.W. Landers; all her brothers and sisters; sons Charles Wayne Landers and Doyle Landers; daughter Shirly Brown. Left to cherish her memory are sons Gary Landers and wife Dena and Billy Landers and wife Deanne, and Larry Landers; daughters Brenda Cole and husband Wilson, Dorthea Mills and husband Maxie; seventy-six grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 North MacArthur Blvd. Irving, TX with an Interment immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens 1413 E. Irving Blvd. Irving, TX. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
