John Robb, Age 82, joined his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
John was born on October 10, 1935 to John Wilbur and Anna (Corwin) Robb in Washington DC. He will be lovingly remembered by: his sister Wendy Rowland and her husband Bobby, his brothers, Jarod and Ralph Robb, his caretaker Donna Greer, and so many friends.
Accomplishments and Passions: One of John’s favorite activities was serving on the board of ALOD (Advocate Leaders of Dallas) with The Arc of North Texas as the Dallas representative for the Texas Advocates. He enjoyed the monthly meetings and annual conferences to encourage self-advocacy. John exercised his right to vote at every election. John loved his job at Achieve DFW where he was responsible for many tasks such as folding boxes and organizing. He loved being a contributing member of his community so much that after his retirement party, he went returned to work the following Monday. John could be found at First Baptist Dallas every Sunday holding the doors and greeting the guests. He enjoyed hamburgers and fries, his household responsibilities (including caring for his dogs Sophia, Boomer, and Husker) and writing little notes and new ideas on the paper he always carried.
His memorial service will be held at 11 am, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the place John loved the most:
