Carolyn B. Strong, age 73, passed into the arms of her Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Carolyn was born on November 11, 1944 in Norman, Oklahoma to Francis L. Brownlee and Adell (Phillips) Brownlee. Carolyn graduated with her Master’s degree and worked as a commercial property manager. She was a loving wife, sister, and friend to many. She loved traveling, camping, was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are husband of 33 years, Mike Woolsey; sister Sandy McClaugherty and husband Don; brother-in-law John Woolsey; sister-in-law Kathy deBerjeois; nieces Lisa Townsend and husband David and Erin deBerjeois; nephews Chad Muse and wife Nikki, Scott Muse and wife Mindy, Darin McClaugherty and wife Jayma; and numerous other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 North MacArthur Blvd. Irving, TX 75060. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Carolyn’s name to the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children www.scottishritehospital.org.
