Ray R. Sebastian of Irving passed away January 21, 2018. He was born on August 14, 1943 in Brownsville, Texas to Alfred Gayle Sebastian and Frances Elaine (St.Clair). He served in the United States Air Force before working at the City of Irving as the Director of General Services for 34 years. Ray was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving and The Irving Rotary Club where he enjoyed volunteering his time. He is preceded in death by his parents. Left behind to cherish his memory are son Jason T. Sebastian and wife Rachel of Euless, Texas; daughter Shanna R. Hamrah and husband Kevin of Ovilla, Texas; grandson Kade Hamrah and former wife Lorna Sebastian of Irving. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Chapel with interment immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
