Obituary for Mary Louise Campbell (Keathley)

Mary Louise Campbell (Keathley)
Mary Louise Campbell - born 10/10/1936 - in Corsicana, Texas. Passed away 01/22/2018.
A graceful, elegant and loving woman is how most describe her. No doubt she was a beautiful soul and an angel of comfort. You only had to meet her once to be impacted by her kind, sweet spirit, genuine care for others and generosity. Anyone who knew Mary can attest she exuded the gifts of the spirit described in Galations 5: Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance. She was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church where she loved to teach Sunday school and sing in the choir. Mary enjoyed painting, loved to play the piano, laugh with family and friends, travel and weekends at the farm in East Texas. Mary has numerous hand written notes in the pages of her Bible – perhaps this one thing sums it all up: The Lord is good!

Mary was the middle of three sisters:
Billie Jean Norton of Dallas and Wanda Hollinsworth of Irving.

Mary Graduated from North Dallas High School. Her mother worked at the Juliette Fowler orphans home as a matron and the girls were allowed to live at the home, so all three of the girls grew up there and enjoyed many wonderful lasting relationships. The many names she was known by include: Mary Louise, Mom, Grandma, Grammy, Nana, and Saintly Grandma.

Preceded in death by her parents: Oma (Smith) Keathley Tanner and Melvin H. Keathley
Mary is survived by her loving husband Bob Campbell.
