Janet Keglovits  Walker
Janet Keglovits Walker, of Irving, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 17, 2018 surrounded by her family after a courageous and inspiring fight with Leukemia. She was born on August 23, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Michael and Ruth (Bomar) Keglovits. Janet was an award-winning Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics, and was a mentor and best friend to many women over the past thirty-one years helping each reach successful careers and enriching their own lives. She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth in 2004, father ‘Dr. K’ in 2011 and her infant brother Phillip Edward Keglovits in 1960. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Stephen Walker; son Kegan Walker; sisters Ann Bell and husband Ron of Irving, Mary Keglovits of Carrollton; brother David Keglovits and wife Monica of Irving; sister Kathy Toman and husband Loren of Euless; nieces and nephews John Bell, Amy Bell, Jason Keglovits, Christine Lyman, Sheridan Keglovits, Kathleen McElyea, Michael Keglovits, Adam Toman, Jared Toman; great nieces and nephews Dylan Keglovits, Grayson Keglovits, Ethan Keglovits, Rosemary Keglovits, Sheridan Keglovits II, Collin Keglovits, Julian Lyman, Jackson Lyman, Maddox Lyman, Micah Lyman, Westley McElyea, Luke McElyea and Cheyenne Keglovits; and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, Friday, March 23rd from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a time to share Reflections and Remembrances of Janet at 7:30 pm; a Memorial Service will occur 11:00 am on Saturday, March 24th at Woodhaven Presbyterian Church located at 3650 North O’Connor Road in Irving with the Rev. Dr. Alan Baroody officiating. The family requests memorials to either the Mary Kay Foundation (www.marykayfoundation.org) or to Woodhaven Presbyterian Church.
