Obituary for Alan Ray Martinez
Alan Ray Martinez “Bull Head”, age 55, died Saturday, April 28, 2018. Alan was born on October 2, 1962 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Albert Martinez and Marjurie (Runge) Martinez. Alan was a loving father, grandfather and friend to many. He loved fishing, being outdoors, and walking to the beat of a different drum. Alan is preceded in death by his parents and brother Frank Lynn Martinez. Left to cherish his memory are daughter Rachel Martinez; son Justin Martinez; daughter Chelsea Martinez; sister Wanda Harris and husband Cary; grandchildren Zachary Cornforth and Walker Wilson; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 1-2PM at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 North MacArthur Blvd., Irving, TX 75061. A funeral service will be held at 2pm at the funeral home with an interment immediately following at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 South Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75051. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Irving Schools Foundation www.irvingschoolsfoundation.org.
