Condolence: Eddie and I grew up together. He lived across the street from me and his sister was my best friend. I had not seen him in years, but I thought about him frequently. I am saddened about this news. Please know that he was much loved and respected by his Kinston friends. God bless you for loving him.

Condolence: I feel like this is a terrible dream and that I'll soon wake up. I still cannot believe you're gone. I truly thought you were invisible. I've seen you overcome multiple health issues throughout the years, and just knew that you would this as well. This is so very hard for me to except. I'll miss hearing all of your jokes, hearing about some new opera song (s) that you enjoyed listening to that no one else liked, talking politics, telling me about sports that I know nothing about, but most of all, just being able to see you. You always had a way to make me laugh no matter what. I'll miss you always, and love you forever Uncle Eddie.
