Barbara Brinkley Henry, age 71, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018. She was born in San Diego, California to Charles Allen and Mary Beatrice (Baker) Brinkley on May 14, 1946. Barbara has been a resident of Irving for almost her entire life and was a graduate of the University of Texas. She took pride in her career as a casting director, working for Brinkley Casting for 40 plus years, casting rolls for movies such as Young Guns 1 and 2, Varsity Blues, Point Blank and many more until her retirement. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to many who will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by both parents, aunt Charlotte Reynolds and uncle Lonnie Baker. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Billy Fred Henry II; sister Beverly Sue Binkly-Winnett; son Chuck Dyess; daughter Cassaundra Henry Wright; grandchildren Joshua Adam Wright and Sara Elizabeth Wright; great grandchild Malicchi Alexander Aihyron – Wright; niece Cynthia J. Reynolds and husband Shaun, along with many extended loving family and friends. A celebration of life was held on June 9, 2018 at The Lakewood Church in Houston.
