Carolyn M. Patterson, age 66, died on July 4, 2018. She was born in Rochester, New York to James Cufari and Betty (Jean) Worthy on September 12, 1951. Carolyn enjoyed reading, playing cards and dominoes, was a fan of the Texas Rangers and listened to classic rock, her favorite being the Beatles. She found much pleasure in traveling, especially cruises but the thing she loved the most was her family and being a grandmother to her 5 beautiful grandchildren. Carolyn served faithfully, as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Marks Catholic Church in Denton for over 10 years. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, nephew Drew Patterson and aunt Paula Cohen. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 47 years, Leon Louis Patterson III; son James Patterson and wife Jennifer; daughter Heather Leising and husband Mark; grandchildren Ashton Patterson, Emma Patterson, Kailen Maynard, Maci Maynard and Matthew Leising; brother Joe Cufari and wife Alison; sister Jennifer Legar and husband Len; sister Pat Guithes and husband Tony; sister Betty Noonan and husband Bob; sister Karen Milne and husband David along with numerous extended loving family and friends.
