Elaine Reiter, age 72, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Charles Arthur and Maggie Marie (Mitchell) Dismore on March 13, 1946. Elaine will be remembered for her funny and lighted hearted sense of humor, her helpful and kindhearted ways in which she treated everyone and for the love she had for her family, especially her children and grandkids. She enjoyed antiquing and collecting depression glass. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles Dismore and sister Evelyn Lote. Left to cherish her memory is husband of 53 years, 11 months and 26 days, Daryl Reiter; daughter Anita Bernardo and husband Brian; son Duane Reiter and wife Tamara; grandchildren Craig Bernardo, Emily Bernardo and Brendan Reiter along with numerous extended family and friends. Elaine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, she will be greatly missed. A visitation will be at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving, between 6:00 and 8:00pm on Thursday, August 30, 2018. A graveside service will be 1:15pm, Friday, August 31, 2018 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy in Dallas; 15 minutes prior to the service, friends and family attending, will begin the processional line up at Lane 2.
