Wilma R. Newman, age 83, died Sunday, March 6, 2016. Her life began in Lesley, Texas, on October 4, 1932 where she was born to D.C. Hall Jr. and Lula Viola (Henson) Hall. She is a long time Irving resident, and member of Calvary Church since 1980. For 23 years, Wilma enjoyed working as a new car title clerk for Huffines Chevrolet, until her retirement in 2008. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, Wilma has left a legacy of love and life. She is preceded in death by her husband Conde Newman; left to cherish her memory is daughter Karen Johnson; sons Randy and Dennis Stewart; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother Raymond Hall; sisters in law Lorene Ward and Marie Newman and nieces Gorinda Rendon and Gailya Edwards. A graveside service will be held, 11:00 am at Old Granbury Cemetery on Saturday, March 12, 2016. The family will be receiving friends between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Friday, March 11, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home.
