Lucille Mary Sutton of Irving passed away December 17, 2016 in Irving. She was born on September 1, 1919 to William and Vera “Harris” Quillin in Waxahachie, Texas. Lucille was a loving wife, mother and friend to everyone she met. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed the simple things in life. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Sam Sutton; sons Wilfred and Lowell Sutton and grandson Jimmy Sutton. A special thank you to Valerie and Jack for the love, care and friendship throughout the years. She is survived by many loving friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Sowers Cemetery in Irving immediately following the service.
