Darla Frances Geeslin, age 57 of Coppell, died August 29, 2014. She was born to Frances Payne Wallace and D.E. Wallace on April 4, 1957 in Floydada, Texas. Darla graduated with distinction honors from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU Cox School of Business. She was most recently a Senior Vice President for Pegasus Bank, and was with Comerica Bank/Grand Bank for 23 years prior. Darla will be dearly missed by her husband David Geeslin of Coppell; son Jefferson E. Geeslin of Tyler; son Garrett C. Geeslin of College Station; brother Wayne Wallace of Meridian; sister Sue Hammonds of Killeen; brother Larry Wallace of Clifton; sister Shirley Ogle of Meridian and brothers William Wallace and Payton Wallace, both of Meridian. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Apostles in Coppell with The Rev. Timothy B. Cherry officiating. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Austin Memorial Park in Austin, Texas with The Rev. Morgan Allen officiating.
