Edmundo “Gordy” Jauregar, age 58, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born in Highland Park, Illinois, on June 8, 1957 to Jesse G. Jauregar and Emma (Rojas) Jauregar. Gordy worked as a master mechanic for DART, becoming an instructor later in his career. He was an avid cyclist and thrill seeker, but always held a soft spot in his heart for the love of all animals. Gordy will be deeply missed by his sister Cynthia Jauregar; nephew Jesse G. Jauregar; cousins Linda Gomez, Angie Gomez, Denise Tevis and Mary Ray; his loving canine companions Ellie Mae and Ernest T. Bass; Blake and Gayle Bloomfield along with the rest of Chili’s Wednesday night crew. For service information please contact the family.
