Teddy Bruce, age 66, died Friday, April 8, 2016. He was born in Meridian, Texas on March 23, 1950 to Homer Russel and Laverne (Parker) Bruce. Teddy was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his parents; left to cherish his memory is wife of 37 years Marie Bruce; son Clayton Bruce of Houston; son Lance Bruce and wife Laura of Irving; daughter Jodye Grissom and husband Charles of Paris; granddaughter Bailey Grissom; grandson Blaine Grissom; brother Mike Bruce and wife Elizabeth of Irving and his nephew Mike Bruce Jr. of Grapevine. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home with internment immediately following the service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00pm, Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the funeral home.
