Howard F. Bemis of Irving passed away July 15, 2016. Howard was born on Marchl 12, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dallas Howard Bemis and Florence Elizabeth (Smith) Bemis. Howard was active in Scouting and achieved Eagle Scout and God & Country awards. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Paige Bemis. Left to cherish his memory are wife of 33 years Janice Bemis of Irving; son Todd Bemis and wife Cecilia; sons Christopher Kilgore and Adam Kilgore all of Irving; grandchildren Matthew Bemis, Tierney Kilgore and Aislynn Kilgore. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
