Jerry A. Hayes of Irving passed away August 21, 2016. He was born on September 1, 1934 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth (Hayden) Hayes. Jerry was a resident of Irving for over 50 years where he worked as a Home Builder and Realtor. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1957 and volunteered as an Ambassador at The DFW Airport. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Yvonne Hayes. He leaves behind to cherish his memory son Keith Hayes and wife Karen of Southlake, Texas; daughter Lisa Hayes of Newport Beach, California; sister Mary Ellen Blankenship of Plano, Texas; brother Robert Lee Hayes of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren Stephanie Hayes; Ali Hayes; Hayden Hayes; and Tatum Hayes. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Ron Scott officiating.
