Charles N. Simpson, age 81, died surrounded by his family Sunday, October 8, 2016. He was born May 25, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Melvin and Jennette (Fortier) Simpson. Charles, a U.S. Airforce veteran, was retired from American Airlines after 43 years’ employment and was an active member at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church, and involved in the creative process of "putting on a show" at the Irving Community Theatre. Left to cherish his memory is wife Irene Jackson; son Steven Simpson and wife Julie; son William Simpson; son Michael Simpson and wife Elena; daughter Colleen Eckles and husband Benny; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, Thursday, October 13, 2016 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, October 14, 2016 at Plymouth Park United Methodist with interment at Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless, immediately following.
