Wayne Holter of Irving passed away October 16, 2016. He was born on August 19, 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert and Vera (Grundmeier) Holter. Wayne lived in Irving for 20 years and was a member of Christ Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army 101st Airborne and served in Vietnam before opening S & W Consultants in 1986. He is preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind to cherish his memory wife Shirley Holter of Irving; sons Robert Tucker and wife Anna; Leslie W. Holter; Roger K. Holter and David A. Holter; daughter Jennifer L. Procopio and husband Thomas; grandsons, Jonathan, Alexander and Antonio; granddaughters Rhaea, Sara, Amanda, Stacy, Emily, Meagan, Harlie, Katie, Jessica and Samantha; six great-grandchildren; brother Larry Holter and wife Diane; sisters Linda Bjerke; Gayle Leochler and husband Randy; Kathie Septrick and husband Scott; Jill Watson and husband Al; Robin Holter. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
