Obituary for Dannah Wayne Rose

Dannah Wayne Rose, Sr. passed away on November 1, 2016. He was born on October 16, 1939, in Waco, Texas to Walter and Mozelle Rose. He was a proud seventh generation Texan, and lifetime member of The Sons of the Republic of Texas. Dannah was 1958 graduate of South Oak Cliff High School and served three years in the United States Army and then attended Arlington State College. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, brothers Lannia K. Rose and Morris G. Rose. Dannah leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 56 years, Sue Rose of Euless; daughter Susan Rose and husband Joel Frizzell of Euless; son, Dannah Rose, Jr. of El Dorado, Kansas; grandchildren Caleb and Levi Rose of Wichita, Kansas and Allison Frizzell of Euless; sister Anita Kinne of Dallas, as well as one niece and several nephews. Dannah was a sales representative in the motor freight industry and will be remembered for his upbeat attitude. He was also an accomplished artist. Dannah was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Irving before joining First Baptist Church of Euless, when he and Sue relocated to Euless. Dannah will be remembered for loving the Lord Jesus Christ and putting his family first. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, a Committal with Military Honors will be performed at Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless.
