Stephen Wayne Snody, age 59, died Friday, December 30, 2016. He was born in Lubbock, Texas to Arvil Gene and Mary (Sampson) Snody on October 26, 1957. Stephen was a loving son and brother and enjoyed his cars, motorcycles and building model planes and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He made Irving his permanent home in 1961, only leaving Irving when he joined the United States Airforce in 1975, where he served his country until his honorable discharge in 1979 with the proud rank of E4, Sr. Airman. Left to cherish his memory are both his parents; brother Rodney Snody; sister Ronda Murray and husband David, along with numerous extended family and friends. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held 10:30 am, Thursday January 5, 2017 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
