Benny “Jody” Allen, age 58, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was born on November 25, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Odis Wayne and Josephine (Vinson) Allen. Jody loved his 3 Shih Tzu and he also loved kids, this made his job at Adventure Discovery Daycare even more enjoyable. He enjoyed DIY projects, fishing and was a great mechanic. Jody is preceded in death by his parents and brother Odis Wayne Allen Jr. Left to cherish his memory is wife Linda Allen; daughter Katy Allen; son Ben Allen; brother Billy Mack Walker; grandson Brennan Downs and many other loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Irving.
