Sharon Lightfoot of Irving passed away June 20, 2017. She was born on October 12, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to Wylie and Dorothy (Conner) York. Sharon graduated from South Oak Cliff High School and later worked as a secretary in the freight industry. She was a member of Compass Christian Church of Colleyville. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Phil York. Sharon leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter Stacey L. Lightfoot-Morse and husband Chris; son Steven Lightfoot; grandchildren April Saden and husband Shane; Autumn Lightfoot; Alex Lightfoot; Morgan Moore and Conner Moore and great-grandchild Ryker. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tom Pembleton officiating. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas.
