Condolence From: Dianna Puckett
Condolence: I knew Coach O through my wonderful brother Byron Glenn by the smile on his face every day he would come home for being blessed by Coach O!! I was a year younger than my brother, and he always came home with words of Coach O yet so small, however so Powerful.

Condolence: It was an honor to play for you Coach O. Thank you for all of the life lessons you taught our teams during our time together at MacArthur. The light of the world got a little bit dimmer with your passing, but I'm happy to know that you've gone on to glory. Your work here is done, but your legacy is carried on through all of your former players. God bless you coach!

Condolence: We were blessed to have Coach "O" in our lives while attending Haskell High School (class of 1962). Our kids heard us talk about him so many times. Then our kids were blessed to know him at MacArthur High
school in Irving . He knew us by name every time we saw him. He had an uncanny memory of all his "kids".
We loved and respected him for being such a wonderful role model and teacher. Coach "O"
will never be forgotten. We carry him in our hearts.
Prayers for the family and all who knew him .

Condolence: Good bye Coach O,
This world lost one of the greatest men I have known. Coach O, was more than a football coach, he shaped young men and young women's lives. His living room was always open to any of us when we needed to talk. He lived the Christian life daily. What a great example he was to all of us at Abilene Cooper. He loved his family and his athletes. Mary Margret, we loved your father and in many instances, he was a second father to many of us. I will never forget your father.

Condolence: Coach O was a great man of character. His influence on me during my high school years was one of the big reasons why I became a high school football coach. RIP Coach O

Condolence: Coach O lies on the field of battle, his body exhausted, in complete victory now. Well done coach. Your prepared to meet your maker, and in turn helped prepare so many of us to do the same. See you on the other side.

Condolence: Coach Overton was one of the greatest men that I ever met in my life, not only as a student at MacArthur but also when I returned for a short time as an employee at MacArthur. Such a positive role model for me. He was truly an educator that made a huge difference in my life. R.I.P Coach O, you will never be forgotten by me.
