Obituary for Alfred D. Zerr

Alfred D. Zerr passed away the morning of November 20, 2021. He was born November 30th, 1934, in Quinter, Kansas to parents Nickolas and Leogardea (Waldman) Zerr. He served in the United States Army for 4 years and was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus. He had a love for traveling with his late wife. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather that will be dearly missed.

He was reunited with his wife, Donna Mae Zerr who passed in 2016. Left to cherish his memory are his sister Christina Halepaska of Irving, TX; son, Alan Zerr of Irving, TX; daughters: LeLoni Taylor and husband Sam of Southlake, TX, Pamela Smith and husband Larry of Canyon Lake, TX, and Kelley Lile of Euless, TX; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren

Visitation will be held Monday, December 6th, 2021, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Rosary at 6:00p.m. at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home located at 707 N. MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75061. A Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Lukes Catholic Church located at 202 S. MacArthur Blvd., Irving, TX 75060. Interment will be Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, at 1 PM at DFW National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211 15 minutes prior to the service, friends and family attending, will begin the processional line up at the cemetery in Lane 1.
