Obituary for Art Busche

Arthur Frederick Busche III passed away January 24, 2023, in Irving, Texas at the age of 59. He was born to Arthur Frederick Busche, Jr. and Marilyn Sue (Megli) Albright on September 11, 1963, in Shawnee Mission, KS. Although Art was born in Shawnee Mission, he grew up in Atchison, KS where he had many fond memories of working at his grandfather’s farm.
In 1984, he met his future wife, Marti, and moved to Texas, where they were married on June 20, 1987. They moved to Irving, TX in 1990, where they raised their family. In 2001, after many years in the business, he established Art Busche Construction and worked for clients all over the DFW metroplex.
Art loved being outdoors and enjoyed spending time at his friend’s farm in Oklahoma, the ranch in Bonham, TX and tending to his personal garden at home. He was so excited when he recently located and purchased a restored 1941 Farm-All tractor, the exact model he used growing up at his grandfather’s farm.
Art spent many hours “pondering” various topics such as construction, gardening, and special projects for family and friends in order to come up with the perfect solution for whatever he was working on.
Art will always be remembered for his kindness and big heart, the way he entertained with his story telling, his love of life, friends, and family and how he spoiled his many dogs over the years.
Art is preceded in death by his stepdad, Jack Albright. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Marti; son, Arthur Busche IV; daughter, Lauren Murillo (Jim); grandchildren: Caleigh Murillo, Grayson Busche, Jaxon Murillo, Angelique Murillo, and Bella Murillo; great grandson, Camden Moncrief; sister, Arlana Morgan; father, Arthur Busche, Jr.; mother, Marilyn Albright; niece, Luci Martinez; nephew, Joey Martinez; as well as numerous other friends and family who will miss Art dearly.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations in Art’s name be made to the Faith Presbyterian Hospice, https://www.faithpreshospice.org/support/
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Back Forty Smokehouse, 8021 Main Street, North Richland Hills, Texas 76182.
