Jane Henderson passed away December 31, 2021, in Irving, Texas at the age of seventy-nine. She was born August 8, 1942, in Bunkie, LA to parents Wilbur and Bessie Franks. Jane worked as a contract painter her whole life. She was known as a true Rajin Cajun who could curse with the best of them. She loved the outdoors which included road trips, gardening, and enjoying the flowers. Her many hobbies included: fishing, bird watching, and going to the casinos. Jane was a strong and caring woman who lived an amazing life full of love and laughter.
She loved spending time with her family and listing to all the children laughter’s thru the years. Above all Jane will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Henderson; father, Wilbur Franks; mother, Bessie Lillian (Huffman) Franks; brothers: JB Franks, Herman Franks, Huey Franks, Edwards Franks, and Robert Franks; and sister Emily Franks. Left to cherish her memory is her children: Wayne Edwards, Peri Zuber and husband Todd, Aura Wilson and husband Eddie, Michael Paul, and Judy Lillie; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Jane dearly.

A memorial service in honor of Jane’s life will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday, January 7, 2022, at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 North MacArthur Blvd. Irving, Texas 75061.
