Betty “Nana” Metzler passed away January 28, 2022, in Carrollton, Texas at the age of 88. She was born July 5, 1933, to parents Lemuel and Lois Sinclair in Littlefield, Texas. Betty known to many of her family and close friends as Nana was a very social person who loved playing games and eating out. Above all Betty loved her family and really enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren as only a Nana can.

Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Richard B. “Dick” Metzler; father, Lemuel Sinclair; mother, Lois (Montgomery) Sinclair; son, Randy Metzler; son, Rick Metzler; and brother, Glen Sinclair. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debbie Morton, and husband Kyle; sister, Patsy Rogers; grandson, Marshall Morton, and wife Deirdre; granddaughter, Sara Sartor, and husband Matt; great grandchildren: Connor Morton, Baby Girl Morton due in June; Weston Sartor; and Jaycee Mae Sartor; as well as other loving family and friends who will miss Betty dearly.

In lieu of flowers family ask that any donations made in Betty’s name be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

A memorial service for Betty will be held at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 North MacArthur Blvd. Irving, TX 75061.

An Inurnment next to her husband Richard “Dick” Metzler will take place at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date and time.
