Bobby Lee Allen a life long resident of Irving, Texas went Home to his Lord and Savior on February 17, 2023 in Grapevine, Texas at the age of 92. He was born in Dallas, Texas to parents Lewis and Mae Allen on April 16, 1930. Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his service in the Navy Bobby went into working in the trucking industry owing his own truck and working for C&H Transportation and Roy Clark for 50 plus years until his retirement. He was a member of the DFW Ambassadors and the Square Dancing Club. In his spare time Bobby loved playing dominoes, reading, and sailing. Bobby was an active and faithful member of his church Beltline Road Church of Christ in Irving, Texas. Bobby will always be remembered as a loving and kind father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, and friend.

Bobby is met in Heaven by his loving wife, Sissy Allen; father, Lewis Allen; and mother, Mae Allen. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Peggy Styers, and husband Nelson; son, Don Allen and wife Marie; son, Wayne Allen and husband Lukasz; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Bobby greatly.

Family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. Irving, Texas 75061.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Beltline Road Church of Christ 1202 N. Beltline Rd. Irving, Texas 75061.

Immediately following the funeral service, a graveside will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens 1413 E. Irving Blvd. Irving, Texas 75060.
