Cheryl “Noni” Rogers went Home into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior February 3, 2021 in Tomball, Texas at the age of 75. She was born August 3, 1945 to father, John Woodrow Hampton, and mother, Alene Mae (DeBrucque) Hampton in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cheryl was a faithful member of Champion Forest Baptist Church - North Klein. She loved attending church where she could worship with the congregation who loved the Lord as much as she did. “Noni” loved her grandchildren and family get togethers and when the night came to the end she was always planning the next. She was known as a list maker, enjoyed having her nails done, and of course will be remembered for her Amazon Shopping. Cheryl enjoyed the times she was able to take weekend trips with her “HoHo Sisters” and the memories they made together.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her loving husband, William “Baba” Rogers; father, John Woodrow Hampton; mother, Alene Mae Hampton; brothers: John Hampton, and Donald Hampton. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ted Murray, and wife Brooke; daughter, Christian Jackson and husband David; stepson, Bill Rogers; stepdaughter, Ann Franks; “Noni’s” 8 grandchildren: Madison Murray, Alex Baker, Makenna Murray, Macie Baker, Mallory Murray, Joshua Jackson, Olivia Jackson, and Sarah Rogers; cherished nieces, nephew and families; Leigh Ann Genard; Cheryl Kay Stovall, Julie Alvarado and John Hampton; as well as numerous extended family and friends who will all miss Cheryl dearly.
A memorial service for Cheryl will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at Champion Forest Baptist Church - North Klein 4515 Spring Stuebner Rd. Spring TX, 77389. Cheryl will be laid to rest next to her husband at 2:15p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas TX, 75211...Due to Covid restrictions at the cemetery only 30 people allowed under the pavilion and no flowers allowed at the cemetery....15 minutes prior to the service, friends and family attending, will begin the processional line up at the cemetery in Lane 2.
