Obituary for Deanna Mooney

On October 15, 2022 Deanna went home to be with our Father. Born to Alfred A Watson and Mary (Allen) Watson on November 27, 1949 in Dallas, Texas. Deanna worked diligently in and outside the home. For years she worked in the medical field as medical and surgical assistants and as a medical office manager. Her family was blessed to have such a devoted, loving, compassionate and cherished wife and mother. She was a loyal friend who tried to make everyone feel important and always made time to be there for them. She was a humble, selfless person that always did without so her children and family could have more. She walked with Jesus every day and strived to teach her family to be an example of Christ’s love. Her kindness, love and generosity knew no bounds. She loved fiercely and unconditionally and truly dedicated her life to her family and to her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Mooney, son Jerry W. Mooney, daughter Joeanna Williamson and husband Chris, son David Mooney, and Grandson Zon Mooney, Brother Alfred Watson Jr and wife Deanna, brother Travis David McElyea and wife Janean, Sister Kerry Jackson and husband Scott, as well as many treasured nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by parents, Alfred A. and Mary Watson.
