Obituary for Dorothy Marie Parks Davidson
Dorothy Marie Parks Davidson, of Irving, passed away on January 15, 2021 in hospital after a brief illness. She lived in Irving most of her adult life.
She was born in Clarksville TX, on October 20, 1932, daughter of Louis Parks and Bertha Steele Parks. Growing up, she lived on the family farm with her beloved parents and sister, Ann. There were always lots of stories to be enjoyed about her childhood.
For many years, Dorothy was a wife and mother to four children. In the later years, she worked outside the home for about 20 years before she retired.
Dorothy was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, always providing care and assistance whenever needed. She enjoyed cooking and hosted many family gatherings.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Janice Stephens Ross and husband Randy of Chickasha, OK, son Alan Stephens of Arlington and sister Ann Pauletti and husband Marion of Irving. Grandchildren include Amy Mauldin and wife Meshelle Peavler of Ft Worth, Holly Guel of Mesquite, Haley Mauldin of Grand Prairie, Zach Flores and wife Cresha of Mansfield, Erin Gomez of Watauga, Victoria Fralia and husband Chris of Chickasha, OK, Jordan Mosier of Irving, Joshua Stephens and wife Ashton of Holt, Michigan, Matthew Stephens and partner Keeli Ray of Arlington, Emily Stephens of Arlington. Great grandchildren are Nicholas Mauldin, Madisyn Guel, Mia Mauldin, Desiree Frederick, Zane and Seth Flores, Andrew Flores, Kayla Gomez, David and Olivia Fralia. She is also survived by her nephews Philip, Steven and Joseph Pauletti and their families.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and beloved daughters Glenna Stephens Mauldin and Jennifer Stephens Mosier.
Dorothy will be greatly missed by all her family.
Graveside service is scheduled for January 18, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving for immediate family only.
