Dorthy ‘Dottie’ Pierce left this world for a more peaceful one. Staying true to form, she left on her own terms, saying goodbye to all those she loved and cared for in this life. She was so many things to so many people, that it cannot possibly be summed up in just a few words. She was a wife, mother, sister, Mimi, aunt, & great aunt. She will be remembered for her chocolate pies & white mountain frosting, her ‘not red’ hair, her Irish stubbornness & loving heart. She loved her grandkids so much that she had a special phrase for each one just so they would know how special they were to her. While she will be missed, we all take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering…she is breathing easy now, watching over all of us from heaven above…who could ask for more than that for one of the greatest women we will ever meet.
She leaves behind a loving husband of 51 years, Ronnie, a son Ethan and his wife Cody, 2 daughters: Camie and Cassie, 1 furbaby, Suzy Q, and 1 sister, Sherry. She has 3 fantastic grandchildren (her greatest joy) of whom she doted on every chance she got: her ‘number 1’ Wesley, her ‘beautiful’ grand-daughter Autumn & her ‘too sweet cutie pie’ Charlie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Dorthy Jenkins, sister Venita Ruyle, brothers: Millard and Edward Jenkins.
