Obituary for Elizabeth "Beth" Bushwar
Elizabeth Marie (Beth) Bushwar went home to be with her Lord April 8, 2021 in Irving, Texas. She was born May 27, 1924 in New Albany, Indiana.
Beth moved to Dallas in 1942 where she worked as a delivery person in the Lockheed Aviation Plant. In 1947, she attended Baylor Dental College and became a dental hygienist in Dallas County.
Beth married Oscar Bushwar on May 28, 1949. He was the love of her life for 70 years before his death in 2019.
Beth is survived by her children: William Leslie Bushwar II and wife Blevins of Irving; Cynthia Ann John and husband Raland of Spokane, Washington. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Jennifer Jane Mikeska and husband Jeremy, Jon Robert Bushwar and wife Susan, Amanda Marie Person and husband Sean, and Kati Beth John and husband Shane Maggart. Also nine great-grandchildren: Keaton Tate, Gavin Grant, Gracyn Beth and Rylann Clair Mikeska; Liam Martin, Marin Jane, and Ellery Kate Bushwar; and Axel John and Poppy Ann Person. Plus numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
