Estelle (Walker) Riley was called Home by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 92. She was born to James and Byrdie (Porter) Walker on December 15, 1930 in Dallas, Texas. Estelle was talented and enjoyed sewing especially clothing. She loved cooking and everything she made was homestyle cooking. She was known to be the best pastry cook that Irving Independent School District ever had. Her cooking was so good the neighborhood kids who affectionately called her “Granny Riley” would often try and stay for dinner. She was a hard working “workaholic” who loved to work at the school or at home. Above all Estelle loved her family and will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

She is met in Heaven by her loving husband, William Riley; father, James Floyd Walker; mother, Byrdie Lela Walker; and ten siblings. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debra Kimberlin and husband Glen; son, Waylon Riley; son, Clifton Riley; son, Philip Riley; son, James Riley; five grandchildren: Preston, Stacie, Wesley, Amanda, and Ronnie; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Estelle greatly.

Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m. thru 12:00p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. Irving, Texas 75061.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. Irving, Texas 75061.

Immediately following the funeral service, a graveside will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens 1413 E. Irving Blvd. Irving, Texas 75060.
